Vision
The Virginia Tech Alumni Association aspires to be a primary linkage between the university and its family of alumni across the globe, to commit them to the university’s mission of lifelong learning, discovery and engagement, and to attract them to university service.
Mission
The Middle Tennessee Chapter of the Virginia Tech Alumni Association provides a communication and support system between the alumni students, parents and the community as a whole. It is our goal to assist our young students to successfully make the transition to university life through both emotional and financial support.
Scholarship
Aside from keeping our Hokie Alumni in the area connected, our primary function is to help promote Virginia Tech and provide scholarship assistance to qualified students from the Middle Tennessee area accepted to and attending Virginia Tech. To date we have provided over $67,000 in scholarships and have endowed an additional $50,000 annuity to ensure scholarships will continue in perpetuity.
